Hello, I’m Dr Esha
Born and raised in Mauritius, I moved to Australia to pursue my medical training, where I spent over 15 years developing my expertise in women’s health. I am a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and hold an Advanced Diploma from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, and a Diploma of Child Health.
As a GP Obstetrician, I am deeply passionate about providing holistic, high-quality care that supports women through the key transitions of life, from pregnancy and postpartum to menopause and beyond.
Becoming a mother myself sparked a special interest in breastfeeding medicine, leading me to complete accreditation with The NDC Institute (Neuroprotective Developmental Care – also known as the Possums program). This training equips me to support mothers and babies with feeding challenges, infant sleep, and cry-fuss difficulties using an evidence-based, neurodevelopmental approach. I also provide perinatal mental health support to help women navigate the emotional changes that come with motherhood.
Outside of my work, I’m a mum to an energetic little boy who keeps me on my toes! In my spare time, I love listening to audiobooks and podcasts, and unwinding through baking.
